Welcome to the Quest Offshore - ASME-IPTI Call for Abstracts web page. Quest Offshore has been bringing quality events to the deepwater industry for over 10 years. Since 2007, Quest Offshore has been working in partnership with ASME-IPTI to enhance the experience of each conference delegate by hightening the level of the technical programs with even more meaningful content.

Here you can submit an abstract for one or both of our annual events. Below you will find a short form that will provide information about your presentation. You have the choice of choosing which conference you would like your abstract to be considered for:

» Deepwater Developments  - held in Europe during late March/early April with a focus on global deepwater E&P activities

» DeepGulf - held in the US during early December with a focus on the issues affecting the Deepwater Gulf of Mexico

Once you have submitted your information, you will receive a confirmation e-mail that your abstract is in our system. From there, the appropriate Advisory Committee will review your abstract and consider it for inclusion in the final technical program. You will receive an e-mail after the final voting whether your abstract has been accepted or not. The deadlines for the upcoming events are as follows:

» DeepGulf 2010 - The Call for Abstracts will end August 31st - Final decisions will be made by mid-September 2010

» Deepwater Development 2011 - The Call for Abstracts will end October 10th - Final decisions will be made by the mid-November 2010

This website is active all year, so feel free to submit any abstract at any time; the deadlines above refer to cut-off date for the upcoming event. Abstracts submitted after the deadline will be considered for the following event.

!! Please note if you are a service company submitting a project-based abstract, it is encouraged by our Advisory Committee to have your presentation co-authored by someone at an Oil Company involved in the project. Also, it is your responsibility as the presenter/author to have the approval of the Oil Companies involved in the project before accepting an invitation to present. Failure to secure such approval may result in the removal of your presentation from the final technical program!!

Again, we would like to thank you for your interest in being part of our high-value technical programs. The growing success of the Deepwater Development and DeepGulf Conference and Exhibition is due, in large part, to the high-caliber expertise brought to the event by our presenters. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us.
